LAB-CO developed for the organization TOJIL, in collaboration with the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), a disruptive, effective, sustainable and highly scalable solution to improve transparency and accountability in the Prosecutors’ Offices (PO) of Mexico City and Oaxaca. LAB-CO supported the design and implementation of TEO, an interactive platform which uses a chatbot system that combines automatized support and direct interaction with remote specialized lawyers. Citizens filing criminal complaints, and those who wish to report violations or misconducts by PO officials, will be able to write to TEO through channels such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger and obtain automatized support. The platform also enable them to interact with remote legal advisors for personalized assistance.
